Baby and I

Baby and I! I've been waiting forever for this and I happend to stumble upon the link in a forum, I doubt it would be released in Singapore.

Baby moon acting.

my personal favourite.

I have a more than a hundred photos of moon in my comp. Every single one of them would make your inside melt.

I wonder why can't korean films have good, gripping story lines. They have good tear-jerking lines and scenes, but you have a good cry and forgot what it was later.

I love the cast!

Jang Geun-suk as Han Joon-su
Moon Mason as Baby Woo-ram
Kim Byeol as Film student Kim Byeol

If you havent got a clue who Moon Mason is, read this post. All my ravings about him is in there, so I'll save this space for cutie dad Jang Geun-Suk. Only at 21, he's got a string of impressive dramas under his belt. Beethovan Virus's on my next watch list. And, I think his top part of his facial features resembles Hong Ki.

Storyline: (from wiki)

"Baby and I" is a straight up comedy centered around Jang Geun-suk's character, Joon-soo, becoming a sudden father. In the movie, Joon-soo is a tough 18 year old high school kid that loves to cause trouble. He often gets in fights, once with 17 other guys, but always comes out as the victor. Then one day Joon-soo's parents decides to go out of town. Joon-soo decides then and there to throw a party at his parent's home. He then goes shopping for groceries and comes upon an unexpected surprise. A little toddler sits in a shopping basket wearing the name tag "Han Wooram" and points to Joon-soo as his father!
He then takes the baby home and tries to find the baby's real parents. When he can't find the parents, Joon-soo even tries to abandon the baby but always fails. He then takes the kid to school which causes further scandal and a suspension. But during this time an unexpected event occurs between Joon-soo and Woo-ram…

Ratings: 9.5/10. Light-hearted comedy but it still made me cry. Baby Moon's such an impressive actor!

I AM SAM

After a loonnnng break, I'm sad to admit that I am Sam was the only drama i watched during this long period of time. The rest of the time were spent on variety programs and alot of random music videos.

I am Sam is one of the rare high school korean drama. Teacher-student plot, based on a manga. First few episodes was pretty promising, however, it went downhill in terms of the plot- too bland and i was fast-forwarding from episode 10 onwards. Japan still make the best high school dramas.

The romance in this series is... sorry i just got to say this.. its disgusting. okay maybe its a too strong word to use, but the female lead is too pretty, while the male lead is, ugly and old. (not to be disrespectful, he's quite an actor i must say) The only thing that might be worth watching would be TOP's appearance in this drama. But his air time was too little and his relationship with Eun Byul (Park Min Young) didn't further develop. ARGHHH! He's the only reason why I watched this series.

TOP-shi =)

Moo Shin and Eun Byul. Male lead in blue- blurred. (I'm evil, sorry. HAHA)

I like Park Min Young before watching I am Sam despite not watching any of her shows before. She's got this sweet, cute girl image which doesn't turn you off yet a slight hint of fiesty attitude that pulls you in. I kinda wished I could have half her look.

Kwon Sang Woo's wife, Son Tae Young plays a crazy, clingy teacher who is in love with the ugly male lead. It doesn't make any sense. I guess I sound so superficial, but I like drama leads to look compatible with each other. This drama spoilt her classy image for me.

Ratings: 5/10. Watch it only if you've got a thing for TOP coolness or is a big bang fan.
